Julernetic! (Energetic July 2012)

July was the most energetic month for me. Why? Because I involved my self with so much activities.

I my self don't know how I managed my schedule for July. I'm studying, writing thesis, doing extra-curricular stuff and chilling out!

A month ago, I went to Changwon South Korea to represent Global Changemakers and also the Philippines in the 3rd East Asian Youth Forum. I met other youths from 12 other countries. Also, I met my co-GCM Anna Oposa and Dwight Ronan.
Delegates of the third EAS Youth Forum in South Korea. (Moonsung University)

It was my third time to visit South Korea and the experiences that I have gained were priceless. Especially the time we have been together, the sessiosn that we have attended, killing time moment and etc. The two most memorable experiences that I will never forget were when I have given the chance to carry our national flag during the opening ceremony of the summit and when we have drafted the Changwon declaration.

EASY Boy Band.
Let me not forget the craziest thing that I have done duringt the congress, I became an instant singer together with the other delegates. It was my debut as singer. We sang a song infront of the ministers and honorable guests during the farewell dinner! PAK!

I'm very thankful to Global changemakers for supporting me with my advocacy ad also financially. :)

After the conference I stayed with my friend's house in Busan. Wel,, in Gupo to be exact. Thanks ate Diana for letting me feel the Korean lifestyle. Indeed, Korea is my second home. :)
Last few hours in South Korea. Thanks Ate Diana and to her husband.
It was raining hard during my departure to South Korea. Anyway, thank God that my flight was not cancelled. Anyway, my flight route were BUSAN-CEBU-MANILA. It was fun experiencing a connecting flight. I felt very happy to have my breakfast in Cebu and land for the third time to see its beauty.
Mactan International Airport.

Life must go on after my vacation and trip in Korea. There were many things to finish like the chapter 5 of my thesis and also to finalize the things and segments for the G-project.

After preparing for so much things for the G-Project, last July 27, 2012 our final output made a blast! More than 1500 youth joined and watch our variety show.

I was one of the directors of the G-Project variety show and I'm so happy that we have made the show very unique. We have proved that we can do good output through the talents that God had given to us. We have gave our 200 % to make the event great. Thanks to my production staff who have the same vision and passion! The show is to let young people heed the call to work hard for their chosen advocacy. Also to let the youth become engaged to environmental activities in their own community.

Some of the highlights and segments of the second variety show (G-Project) that I have directed.

After the variety show, July 28, 2012 I together with my two other BYEE friends Andel Reyes from Batangas and Gene-Harn Lim from Malaysia helped me in conducting an environmental talk and workshop to grade school and high school students in Our Lady of Peace School in Antipolo City. The workshop and environmental talks served as my commitment to my Global changemakers' environmental organization BAKAS and The Econect Project.
I'm explaining what the kids will do during the workshop and what output they need to present to us after the workshop.

Gene Harn together with the grade school pupil in OLPS.

The three of us received a certificate of appreciation
After the talks and workshop, we went to our house and ate our dinner. After our little stay in our house we go directly to Mall of Asia and CCP to watch short independent films.

Month of July was full of activities, blessings and surprises. I never thought that I can still impart my passion in making other people become aware of the problems in our environment through my skills and simple actions.

Indeed, July 2012 was a memorable month for me.

Looking forward for more activities this month of August!
