You can not expect the fun ...(February 10, 2011)

I woke up at 6 :45 this morning. I said my morning prayer and then read the messages in my cellphone and got a very important text from Ms. Kath and she said that if I can make it to be part of the program for the Japanese visitors. She also said that I will present the delegates. I said yes and brought my Barong. I ate quickly and quickly took a bath. I arrived in school 25 minutes a head of time for the program.

I was very thankful that Kuya Chuck helped me to look for usher and usherettes for the Japanese visitors. To cut the story short. I had fun reading the names of the Japanese delegates from Sendai Shirayuri Women's College in Japan (I find it very difficult to read and pronounce their names).

I have met new friends from Japan and take note they asked me if I am play boy because I made a rapport with them. (I  laughed so hard after they have asked me that question).

Well well well... I am lucky that our class was cancelled and instead of having class they went to the theater and watched the cultural show. :)) Happy much! Thank you Lord.

CRIS wearing BARONG... So I could say that I look like a congressman.
In the afternoon I looked for my adviser to excuse myself in attending his class. I felt so blessed that my adviser allowed me not to join the class to give way for the Japanese interaction but he reminded me to take my FA tomorrow. After that I attended my statistics class. I got excited for the new topic though some of us were irritated because the aircon unit in our room is not working. So some of us were irritated and not listening attentively to our professor until Mr. Marciano decided to transfer to another room. That was the time that half of the class became attentive. At first, I can't really understand the lesson until I tried my best not to fall a sleep for me to better understand the lesson. Our professor exactly dismissed the class.

After our class I'm in a hurry to go down and to fix myself for the Japanese interaction. Mind you that I also opened my facebook account hahaha.

After 30 minutes we went up to the HRM function room and we have met our Japanese visitors. As usual I represented the volunteers in the college department for the campus tour. I spoke in front of the Japanese but they were all quiet and it seemed that they were not interested with what I am talking but when the time comes to call their respective group they got excited and make their selves ready for the campus tour.

Cris and Duchess together with our new found Japanese friends. :))

The campus tour was very successful because the SPUQC student volunteers were very warm and hospitable in guiding our visitors to the important spots or places in our school. I have found out that it was the first time of the Japanese group assigned to us in the Philippines. You can really see their genuine smile and I know that they have felt the warm welcome of the people in our university. Duchess and I only have a limited time to interact with our new found friends so we have left them at around 16:23 and we proceed to St.Therese meeting hall to meet our university President Sr. Nilda Masirag SPC.

EC with Sr. NILDA. :))

Our meeting started late due to some of our officers still have class. So we waited for them. After 45 minutes we were all set. The meeting was composed of 9 student leaders, a sister and 2 mentors. The opening prayer was led by me then Sister Nilda opened the meeting with warm welcome and she presented a power point presentation regarding with some matters that I can not elaborate at this time. (Sooner or later you will know what we have discussed and shared). The meeting ended with a prayer and we ate sandwiches with a bottled drinks. Sister Nilda also quoted that we should visit her office if we would like to. She also mentioned that we must visit her when she's not busy and if we are free to talk to her.She also quoted that we should meet often for us to feel that we are really a family.

After that Ms. Marty invited us to go to the roof deck to eat dinner. After the dinner, our night begins. I mimicked Ms. Verona's gesture, words and actions. We really laughed out loud. We also shared also our next projects for next academic year and our plans  for the upcoming elections this February. We hope that I Cris Raymund Viray, Kyndler Escio and Duchess Domagsang will make to be part of the Executive Council again.
